Trainee Recruitment Consultant.

Established in 2005 we are a team with 100+ years collective commercial recruitment experience in the UK market. We are specialists in the commercial recruitment world with 3 main recruitment disciplines: Permanent Solutions, Temporary Solutions and Executive Search.

This role will ultimately lead to working as a 360 Commercial Consultant on the temps’ division. You will work closely with a Senior Consultant who will spend time training you across all aspects of the position, starting initially in a resource and administrative capacity. You will be working in partnership with the Senior Consultant to manage and develop the existing desk.

You will proactively assist in sourcing, vetting and qualifying candidates for a variety of different temporary and temp to perm roles whilst ensuring all candidates are fully compliant and all essential admin is on point. Whilst building a pipeline of candidates you will be involved in ensuring all working candidates receive the support they need in their temp roles, providing excellent customer service continuously.

During this time, you will be gradually trained on the following:

• A wide range of administration around Right To Work criteria, Agency Worker Regulations, Working Time Directive, processing time sheets, referencing, day to day booking information etc
• Developing a relationship with user clients and supporting them in filling a wide range of commercial temp and temp to perm roles
• Taking on new jobs and providing an excellent service whilst resourcing for them
• Attending client meetings to gain a good understanding of their specific needs and culture
• Registering candidates and supporting them throughout their time temping via JHR
• Advertising and marketing and using social media
• The role will progress to account management and eventually sales to build and develop your own temporaries desk. This will involve researching potential users, building a relationship with them via various methods including outbound calls. Again, there will be full training and support.

We expect the right candidate for this role to be an excellent team player with strong communication skills, a natural conversationalist, with the ability to self-motivate and have a creative approach to problem solving.

• 1-3 years in a heavily customer / client focused position
• Ideally experience in having worked towards targets in some capacity
• Experience in quickly establishing relationships via telephone
• Able to produce and demonstrate experience of having worked to, achieved, and ideally exceeded targets
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
• Able to evidence consistency in performance in a fast-moving environment
• Excellent team player
• Ambitious and tenacious with a desire to develop in a sales capacity
• Strong IT literacy
• Educated to A-Level or equivalent

The role itself would suit a naturally enthusiastic and outgoing character who would cope well in a fast-paced and demanding environment where change is the only constant. Hours: Monday – Friday 39.5 hours per week 8am to 5pm 1 hour lunch, 4.30pm finish on a Friday.
Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 dependent on experience. Over time a commission structure will apply on top of the basic salary.
