Senior Business Development Advisor.

• Working with internal parties to identify and develop relationships with prospective clients who fall into the target market, and building a strategic plan to generate growth in 2024 / 2025
• Identify opportunities to cross sell to other sectors
• Manage group sales pipeline
• Conduct thorough market research to identify target clients, hot topics, key pain points and devise the most effective way of targeting these prospects
• Continue to maintain relationships with clients once converted to ensure ongoing client satisfaction and to ensure opportunities for growth are identified
• Build and manage own pipeline of leads from the firms marketing and BD events
• Supporting with the initial contract negotiations
• Coach and train lawyers and partners to recognise and understand how to open up new business opportunities within their portfolio
• Attend regular networking events, conferences and exhibitions
• Regularly review sales strategies and sales plans

• Experience within corporate professional services firms (Accountancy, Law, Consulting, Project Management etc.) Legal services is preferable
• Proven track record in consultative solutions-led environment
• Possess an in-depth understanding of legal services
• Proven ability to build rapport cross-industry at C-suite and Director level
• Strong negotiator and influencer
• Excellent organisational skills
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Dynamic and self-motivated

• Able to travel as required

This role would suit someone either based in Leeds, Birmingham or Manchester and will require the successful candidate to be a car driver due to the travel required in regularly visiting clients / attending events.
