Accounts Apprenticeship.

• Managing the end-to-end process of supplier invoicing, from purchase order verification and goods receipting through to payment execution, including direct communication with vendors to address any inquiries.
• Engaging with clients to follow up on outstanding payments, investigate overdue accounts, and resolve related discrepancies.
• Administering employee expense claims, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policy.
• Performing regular reconciliation of accounts payable statements and accounts receivable remittance documentation.
• Carrying out thorough reconciliations of company bank accounts to ensure financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
• Overseeing various registers, with ongoing monitoring and the preparation of associated reporting.
• Adhoc reporting and duties

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C/4 or higher
• Strong focus on accuracy and detail
• Eagerness to develop skills and progress within the position
• Somebody with a strong desire to progress with a career in finance
• Clear and effective communicator
• Ability to attend part-time (day release) AAT training at a local college or centre
• Car driver – due to location of site

Hours: 8.30-5.00 with one hour lunch, Mon-Fri (including day release)
Salary: £7.55 - £12.21 per hour, Apprenticeship so dependant on age.
Location: Normanton (car driver essential)
